Oh how much I want you
but I watch you run away
I dream of being with you
sitting on a couch together on a cold and rainy Sunday

I call you on the phone
With hopes of spending time with you
You let it go to voice mail
You have better things to do

I offer to come visit
You turn the other cheek
There is no rhyme or reason
I have no reason to believe

How can I not matter

I don't understand
But all that I can do
Is cut all of the losses

I don't know what to say

I wore my heart on my sleeve
And then I silenced my emotions

Gains a minute of your devotion

I can't take love that is one sided
For I have too much to give
For this one sided emotion
Is no way for me to live

It is time to erase the memories
Looking back I cannot start again

There is nothing left to salvage
When I think of love, I feel the hurt

Am I a magnet for failure
